Now, that “maakt mij vrolijk”

I don’t know what made me happier. Seeing Peter Winnen win the Queens Stage on Alpe dHuez in his first Tour de France -I believe in ‘81-, or reading his article on the Batavus Adagio NuVInci in the NRC Handelsblad last night.
Peter Winnen is a cycling legend in Holland after winning the white jersey, winning three time the Queens (mountain) stage in the Tour de France and finishing third in the Tour of 83 in the GC. Turn 13 of Alpe d’Duez is even named after him.

These days he has an important following as a columnist in magazines and the NRC newspaper. The later is perhaps the real thinking mens newspaper in Holland. Perhaps it no coincidence he is their sports columnist and bicycle writer. Besided that he is the author of four books.

So what about the Batavus Adagio NuVinci?
