Latest!We just added our Gear Ratio Comparison. So when building a bike and specifying its components you can use this calculator to select the right sprocket combination. With 350% the ATC NuVinci hub as quite a wide range compared to others, so this might help you come up with the right specifications. Remember, the hub is not covered by warranty if you use a ratio between the chainring and sprocket of less than 2:1. As long as you do not go below this, you can use whichever combination best suits the terrain you are riding.

Improved Spoke Length Calculator

We have updated our spoke lenght calculator and made it simpler. Just enter the diameter of the rim and the number of spokes you want to use (32, 36 or for the tandem NuVinci hub 48) and it gives you the exact lenght for each spoke and also the cross pattern. So building a wheelset for the NuVinci hub has never been easier. But as always, it is always a good idea to check first. But it is not a Beta calculator anymore. We are using it ourselves in Europe and it works fine.
